Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
Mobotechnology LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and headquartered in Casper, Wyoming. We design, build, and operate AI-powered sales and marketing automation systems for business clients.
This Policy applies to:
- our website at mobotechnology.com (the “Website”), including the contact form on it;
- our communications with you by email, phone, or video call, including free strategy calls; and
- our sales, onboarding, delivery, and support activities with clients and prospective clients.
Where we process personal information held in a client’s systems (for example, records in a client’s CRM) in order to deliver services, we act as a service provider or “processor” on that client’s behalf. That processing is governed by our written agreement with the client, and the client’s own privacy policy applies to the individuals concerned. Section 2.4 explains this in more detail.
This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services that may be linked from the Website.
Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide to us
- Contact form submissions. When you use the “Send us a message” form on the Website, we collect your message and, if you choose to provide them, your name and email address. Name and email are optional, but without an email address we will not be able to reply.
- Direct correspondence. When you email us, book a strategy call, or speak with our team, we collect the information you share, such as your name, job title, company, contact details, and details about your business, sales process, technology stack, and goals.
- Client and billing information. If you become a client, we collect the information needed to contract with you, deliver services, and invoice you, such as business contact details, billing address, payment details, and the contents of proposals, statements of work, and support requests.
- Feedback and testimonials. If you provide a testimonial, review, or case-study participation, we collect the content you supply. We publish it only with your permission.
Please do not include sensitive personal information (such as government identification numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or passwords) in the contact form or in email. We do not need it, and those channels are not designed for it.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information in server logs, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring URL, the pages you request, and the date and time of each request. We use this information for security, to diagnose problems, and to keep the Website available.
The Website does not currently set advertising cookies, deploy analytics tracking pixels, or use cross-site tracking technologies. Section 6 explains this in more detail and describes what will happen if that changes.
2.3 Information from other sources
We may receive business contact information from publicly available sources (such as company websites or professional networking platforms), from referral partners, or from clients who introduce us to their colleagues. We use this information only for legitimate business-to-business outreach and relationship management, and we honor requests to stop.
2.4 Information we process on behalf of clients
Our services frequently involve connecting to and operating within our clients’ CRM, marketing, and communications platforms. In doing so, we may process personal information about our clients’ customers, leads, and contacts (“Client Data”). Client Data belongs to the client. We process it only as instructed by the client and as permitted by our written services agreement. We do not use Client Data for our own marketing, and we do not use one client’s Client Data to benefit another.
If you are a customer or contact of one of our clients and have questions about how your information is handled, please contact that client directly. We will support them in responding to you.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Responding to you. To answer your inquiries, schedule and conduct strategy calls, and follow up on your requests.
- Providing services. To scope, propose, deliver, support, and improve the services we provide to our clients, and to administer client accounts.
- Business operations. To invoice and collect payment, maintain records, manage our relationships with clients and vendors, and plan our business.
- Service communications. To send messages such as project updates, meeting confirmations, invoices, and notices of changes to our terms or policies.
- Marketing, with your choice. To share insights, case studies, and information about our services with business contacts who have expressed interest, subject to your right to opt out at any time (see Section 12).
- Security and integrity. To protect the Website, our systems, our clients, and our team from fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security threats.
- Legal compliance. To comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, and protect our legal rights.
We do not use personal information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement.
Legal Bases for Processing (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Responding to inquiries and conducting strategy calls | Our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract |
| Delivering services to clients | Performance of our contract with the client, or our legitimate interest in performing a contract with the client’s organization |
| Invoicing, accounting, and record-keeping | Compliance with our legal obligations and our legitimate interest in running our business |
| Marketing communications | Your consent, or our legitimate interest in business-to-business marketing where permitted by law, always with the right to opt out |
| Security, fraud prevention, and Website operation | Our legitimate interest in keeping the Website and our systems secure and available |
| Responding to legal requests and enforcing our rights | Compliance with our legal obligations and our legitimate interest in protecting our rights |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have assessed that those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time (see Section 11).
Artificial Intelligence and Automated Processing
Our services are built on artificial-intelligence and machine-learning technologies. You deserve clarity about what that means for personal information:
- Purpose-limited. We use AI systems to deliver the specific services a client has contracted for, such as lead scoring, message personalization, pipeline forecasting, and conversational assistants.
- Client data stays with the client. We do not use one client’s Client Data to train models deployed for another client, and we do not use Client Data for our own purposes, unless our written agreement with the client expressly permits it.
- Third-party AI providers. Where our solutions rely on third-party AI models or platforms, we work with the client to select and configure those providers, including any restrictions on the provider’s use of data, as part of the engagement.
- Human oversight. Our systems are designed to assist people, not replace their judgment. Decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals remain subject to human review by our clients.
- Website visitors. We do not apply AI-based profiling to visitors of this Website.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. In general:
- Contact form submissions and general inquiries: up to 24 months after our last interaction, so that we can follow up and maintain context if you contact us again.
- Client account, contract, and billing records: for the duration of the client relationship and for the period afterward required by tax, accounting, and legal obligations (typically seven years).
- Client Data processed on a client’s behalf: for the term set out in our agreement with the client, after which it is returned or deleted in accordance with that agreement.
- Server logs: retained by our hosting provider for a limited period consistent with its standard practices and our security needs.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it so that it can no longer be associated with you.
How We Protect Information
We apply administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information we handle, including:
- encryption of data in transit using HTTPS/TLS across the Website and our tools;
- access controls that limit information to team members who need it for their role;
- use of reputable hosting and software providers with established security programs;
- secure credential management and multi-factor authentication for our business systems; and
- internal practices for handling client credentials and integration access safely.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
International Data Transfers
Mobotechnology is based in the United States. The information we collect is processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Data-protection laws in these countries may differ from those in your country of residence.
Where required, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and take supplementary measures to protect information transferred out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland. By using the Website or communicating with us, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: to request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: to request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Portability: to receive your information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Restriction and objection: to ask us to limit processing, or to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing.
- Withdrawal of consent: where processing is based on consent, to withdraw it at any time without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.
- Non-discrimination: not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.
11.1 Residents of California and other U.S. states
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, or another U.S. state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you may have the rights listed above under that law. For clarity: we do not sell personal information, we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not engage in targeted advertising, and we do not process sensitive personal information for purposes that require opt-in consent. In the preceding twelve months we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2 and disclosed them for business purposes to the categories of recipients described in Section 5.
If we decline all or part of a request, you may appeal by replying to our response with the word “Appeal.” We will review the appeal and respond within the time frame required by law.
11.2 EEA, UK, and Switzerland
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first, so please contact us before doing so.
11.3 How to exercise your rights
To exercise any of these rights, email us at mobotechnology365@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will need to verify your identity, which we typically do by confirming that you control the email address associated with the information. You may authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf; we will require proof of that authorization.
We will respond within the time frame required by applicable law (generally within 30 to 45 days) and will let you know if we need more time. We do not charge a fee for requests unless they are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Marketing Communications
We send marketing communications only to business contacts who have expressed interest in our services or with whom we have an existing relationship, and always in compliance with applicable laws, including the CAN-SPAM Act. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may also opt out at any time by emailing us.
Opting out of marketing does not affect service-related communications, such as project updates and invoices, that are necessary to deliver services you have requested.
Children’s Privacy
The Website and our services are intended for businesses and business professionals. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Third-Party Websites and Services
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, including social-media platforms and the websites of the technology providers we integrate with. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties, and this Policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every website you visit.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or the services we offer. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will provide more prominent notice, such as a notice on the Website or, where appropriate, an email to clients.
We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Website or our services after an updated Policy takes effect means that the updated Policy applies to you.
